It's a BOY! We had our ultrasound yesterday and everything was wonderfully healthy and normal. I was 19 weeks but the baby was measuring 19 weeks and 4 days. He was very active and we got a great video of him. I was very excited to find out I had not gainded any weight. I say that because I gained SEVEN the month before so it needed to even out some! Maybe my few weeks of doing Denise Austin cardio workout is paying off (and not eating fried food at every meal, and drinking water instead of soda!). Elle was at school, so she got the news when I picked her up. She had been very adamant about wanting a sister. I tried to prepare her a little that morning just in case. She was okay with it, but then said, "Next time, I want a sister, okay?". I just made a big deal about all the special stuff we'll get to do being the only girls in the house. That seemed to appease her for now. We celebrated with chocolate chip pancakes, turkey sausage, strawberries and blueberries last night (Steven was out of town at an auction. He's not a big fan of breakfast for dinner so I try to take advantage of that when he's gone. Makes it a little more bearable!). When I get baby brother's sweet picture on the computer, I'll post it.

aw yay!!! congratulations!! can i just go ahead and warn you that 2 boys are WILD!! it is a whole new ballgame sister friend! i am so glad he is measuring good and all looks well! i felt like it was a boy when i made your blanket. doesn't it have some blue ribbon in it? how bout yay for hand me downs from big brother too??

That's wonderful! I'm glad to hear he is healthy and doing great! Get your running shoes on! Boys are so "active"! I don't know if Grady has hit that milestone yet but wait until 2. I remember around 16 months saying "what happen to my sweet, laid back little boy?" and it hasn't changed since :) You'll have a blast though!

Yay for another boy! As I said, now Laura Beth will have 2 choices. The marriage won't be so "arranged"! Hahaha!
I'm so glad the pregnancy is going so well. We can't wait to meet him! How about "Kristathan" or "Jonatin"? Or what about "Jonastin"? Then you can get the "nast" in!!

I'm so glad you're feeling well. And I would do the same thing with gaining weight. I'd gain 8 pounds one month and then 1 the next. I think it all evens out, of course.
I think another little boy will be wonderful!!! Elle will be so special as the great big sister! Awesome!
