Tricks

Reese's new trick

His other new trick was sleeping from 7:30 last night until 7 AM this morning without a night cap. And although I'd like to think this will be the new normal, there are a few teeth looming on the horizon. Tomorrow marks the big half-birthday followed by his check-up on Thursday. It has been a fun-filled fast six months!

We spent this past weekend in Dothan to celebrate Christmas with my Dad and his family, got to see some great old friends and meet a special, somewhat famous, new one. Hope to post some pictures of our trip tomorrow. Tonight will be an 8:30 bedtime for me!

Um... not famous, ok! We had an asbolute blast with y'all. We should have started the evening at 5 instead of 8. Will y'all please come back down more often!? And next time we'll get the kids in on the mix, but honestly, it was REAL nice to have adult conversations!! I had plenty of time with Rover later that night {and ever since for that matter}. He has decided that he would wake up at 2 am every night since and cry until we get him. Tonight he had a dose of Benadryl and I'm praying it works. Tell Steven he's in the band now and they practice nearly weekly... looks like y'all are going to need a place closer! I sent Lindsey {my friend who goes to Oak Mtn} a message on FB told her to keep her eyes peeled... you should do the same! Ok, I'm in the middle of a sewing dilemma that I must get back to!! Loved meeting {that sounds really generic because I really already KNEW you}... so I'll just say we loved spending time with y'all!

If you could get Reese to teach Nathan that little sleeping through the night trick, everyone at my house would be very grateful. And I love the toes in the mouth trick too. That may come in handy at parties one day.... ya never know.
