Hope Eternal
I have been wanting to write about our week at the beach and post some pictures and I will soon. But my heart has been so sad and heavy since some of our college friends, Billy and Hope, lost their 4 year old daughter, Alaina, last week. Most everything else in my life seems to pale next to this tragedy. I can't seem to think about much else. Please continue to pray for them. The services were yesterday and I'm sure things will begin to quiet down and in the quietness, grief will manifest itself. They both have amazing faith in the Lord and He will see them through this. Otherwise, there would be no other way to survive something like this.

oh linds...i am so sorry for your friends and their loss and the grieving that your family is doing also. no one should ever have to know that loss. i will say a special prayer for them. do i know who they are?
hey lindsey! its BS. i have not talked to you in a while. i was reading brandi's blog and starting checking out some others and came across your name. as i was reading this particular one, i had a break down. not because i know what it is like to lose a child, but because i have come to know Jesus more in the past 6 months and there is nothing like it. this family apparently knows that He is the ONE AND ONLY and that He is has eternal life for all of his children. they will see their baby again one day. please tell them they have prayers coming from all over...
